How a Second Trump Presidency Will Impact Women on a Global Level

After Roe v. Wade was overturned, Trump proudly advertised he was the reason for it's downfall. Glamour Magazine's United Kingdom affiliate published an article hypothesizing in what ways his next presidency will impact women.

The authors conclude Trump's policies will disproportionately harm women in four distinct areas: (1) Global reproductive rights will be negatively affected because of his plan to extend the gag rule globally; (2) Male violence against women will go unchecked; (3) LGBTQIA+ and racial rights will be altered such that trans people will not be legally recognized and gender-affirming medical care will be denied; and finally (4) Women in conflict zones like Gaza, Lebanon, Ukraine, Afghanistan, and Iran will bear the brunt of of those wars. True or not, the analysis is interesting and instructive.
